Youth Advisory Committee

The Carpentaria Shire Council Youth Advisory Committee was established to provide a platform for young people across the shire to share their views with Council on current and emerging issues affecting youth. The committee supports youth in voicing their ideas and aspirations, helping shape a region where young people feel encouraged to live, work and build their future. The Committee held its first meeting in November 2025.

The committee is looking forward to welcoming new members in 2026. If you are interested in getting involved and making a positive impact in the community, contact the Community and Development team.
