Happy Birthday Karumba

Karumba was officially established as the township of 'Norman Mouth' on June 5, 1873, what is now known as Karumba celebrates its 150th birthday today!

The community has planned a jam-packed week of celebrations from June 25 - July 1.

Karumba has had a few names over the years, as it was initially known as Norman Mouth and then Kimberley before it was changed to Karumba in the 1880s.
