Held in the picturesque Gulf of Carpentaria in Karumba, QLD, the Ocean & Outback Film Festival is a free two-day annual event.

The Festival kicks off on Saturday the 14th of September with an outdoor short film festival held in Karumba, up to 12 short films will be screened and awarded monetary prizes by a panel of celebrity judges. Live music, food and films! Bring a picnic rug, your friends and family and sit back to enjoy a night under the stars!

OOFF advises films are unclassified and some are suited to 15 plus years.

On Sunday the 15th of September, come along to the filmmaking workshop and learn how to make your own short film, hear from the experts, and get inspired.

The entire festival is free.
